The Kukeri of Gergevets are young, highly ambitious, and passionate about their traditions. More and more bells jingle each and every winter to drive away evil spirits and protect their village. The masks of this region are beautifully sequined and embellished hoods. The craftsmanship is truly outstanding. The mask in the center is the oldest in their village that still exists.
