The moments captured in these masks are truly timeless. Take a look at this photo I snapped this February versus a photo the group showed me from the 1970s (below). Many of the masks are the very same, well preserved and well loved through the decades. They pride themselves on the preservation of their textiles, their ornate masks, and their rich history. Awards line the shelves of their cultural center, a gratifying arrangement of kuker contests won for all to see.
