The kukers in Borets are known for having some of the tallest masks in all the country. Their masks exceed 3 meters in height but the group is working on creating masks up to 4.5 meters in height. Over 400 flowers can be used on a single mask. As we walked the streets, the kukers bobbed and weaved to duck under power cables. Their masks were taller than all the homes that lined the streets.
