Exhibitions

The photographs on exhibit include work from the Bulgarian edition of Ashley Suszczynski’s series Ancient Tradition in the Modern Day. This is an ongoing discovery of the ancient pagan roots masked throughout the villages of the rural Europe. This study and production of visual anthropology has taken Ashley across the the continent, unearthing the various cultural traditions and winter rites of the region. Each village is unique in its characters and customs, yet shares profound similarities in symbolism. Through this imagery we discover age-old traditions alive and well in the 21st Century.
